Metropolitan Website Design started out in 2005 when the founder - Troy Reid - was designing websites for a communications company in Germany (Yezz-tele.com) with various projects. At that time, website design was only a part of many bigger projects he was working on for the company. He personally designed quite a few websites for the company as well as assisting in the design of many more.

After returning to the US in 2007, he programmed websites on the side for various companies. It was not until early 2008 that the company took on the name Metropolitan Website Design and became a full fledged design company with a complete team.

Now, Metwebdesign employs programmers from around the globe as well as a team of SEO specialists.

We prefer to design more professional looking websites and avoid flashy, aggressive sites with too much motion and color. Many of our sites have small integrated flash banners or videos while avoiding huge, slow loading, distracting pages.
